The “Do it yourself” Christmas Cubes are a perfect substitute for the traditional Christmas bauble. The geometries of the Cubes are based on projections of a 4D hypercube, and resemble the shape of crystals.
One pack comes with 3 different geometric Cubes. All paper models are punched and creased. They included folding instructions. With the online instruction videos, folding the Cubes is a piece of cake.
The Christmas Cubes are part of a project called MokumLokum, a collaborate effort between textile designer Nikkie Wester and designer duo JONGHLABEL. Their shared interest in traditional Arabic patterns lead to a series of contemporary products, in which geometry places a crucial role.
